What is Dual Language Immersion?
Dual language Immersion (DLI) is a unique approach to bilingual education. Students learn academic content: math, science, social studies, and literacy in both Spanish and English. The DLI Program at Cardinal Valley Elementary follows a 50/50 model: 50% of the time in English and 50% in Spanish. The Dual Language Program is 50% of the school population.
